Vice President of Sales (New York)

Today, Plus Three is looking for highly motivated and accomplished individuals to join a smart and dynamic team.
As Vice-President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing a market execution plan in conjunction with Plus Three executive team to identify new business opportunities as well as partnership alliances to drive sales. Generating leads and follow-up with prospective clients and development and presentation of proposals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives and provide direction for the team to attain them.
- Responsible for assigning quotas, compensation plans, coaching sales staff in sales process and assisting business close for assigned sales reps.
- Target potential customers and develop relationships in order to acquire new business.
- Manage and maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customers.
- Work with sales team to develop an effective set of sales tools, presentations and customer communications.
- Build a successful sales team through the development and execution of sales strategies in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
- Maintain and accurately forecast company's bookings and revenues to executive management.
- Development and modeling of sales strategy to target key end users, system integrators and resellers in specific vertical markets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful product/solutions software sales experience
- 3+ years of field sales management experience.
- Extensive sales and sales management experience with a strong knowledge of the IT project management, outsourced IT solutions, managed services and Internet solutions.
- Experience working with channel partners desired.
- Proven track record of success in directing and motivating a sales team.
- Extensive experience in assisting sales team in "opening doors" and "closing deals".
- Ability to define product value propositions and differentiators.
- Solid experience in selling directly to major accounts.
- Knowledge of nonprofit, political, advocacy, or membership organizations and direct sales experience in a those verticals a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business; MBA preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment necessary.
